At Waterfall Schools, education is more than just academics – it’s a journey of discovery, connection and purpose. Nestled on the beautiful 41-acre iThemba Campus in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal our trio of co-ed Christian schools – incorporating Waterfall Pre-Primary, Preparatory and College – offers a continuous learning pathway from 4 months to Grade 12.

We believe in nurturing each child’s unique potential, fostering confidence and cultivating a strong sense of identity. In our classrooms, laughter and curiosity go hand in hand, creating an environment where children feel safe to explore and grow, with expert guidance from our passionate teachers.

With modern facilities and a choice of 17 subjects from Grade 10, we encourage students to think critically, to collaborate and innovate. Our commitment to growth and personal progress is reflected in our consistent 100% IEB Matric pass rate since 2004. Waterfall Online provides additional support to students from Grade 1 to Matric wishing to improve their marks.

Learning extends beyond the classroom in our sports and cultural programme, including class trips, choir, art club, school plays and a range of sports, from hockey to netball, basketball, rugby 7s (in the high school), soccer, cross country and more. Whether on the field, on stage or in the classroom, our students are encouraged to step forward with confidence and courage.

Through our partnership with Focus on iThemba and other local organisations, we instill a sense of community and responsibility, encouraging students to be active participants in creating positive change.
