The Village Waldorf School

The Village Waldorf School is a small private school situated in Pretoria East, close to Irene. We offer pre-primary and primary Waldorf education. Our small classes focus on individual attention and allows for adaptability in our teaching approach. Our qualified teachers undergo an additional two years of Waldorf training. This offers a unique insight into the development of the child and the curriculum that appropriately supports that development at each stage of the child’s life. The teaching style is engaging and focuses on incorporating elements the appeal to the head, heart and hands of the child. This means that the work presented is ‘alive’ and relevant, the child is engrossed on all levels of being and is invested in the learning outcome.
