Ballet Classes

Inspire Ballet Academy provides excellent, high-quality ballet training to students of all ages and skill levels. Ballet classes are offered from age 3, through to Grades and Major levels, as well as adult classes.

Ballet Classes ages 3 – Advanced/Pre-Professional

These ballet classes are the core of a dancer’s training. Individual attention is given to all dancers in order for them to achieve their absolute best and continue to develop a love for ballet. Ballet classes assist in developing several important skills for a young child’s development. Some of these include improving gross and fine motor skills; encouraging the use of both sides of the body for all movements; building strength and flexibility in a gentle, caring manner; and developing the imagination. Dancers also develop co-ordination, balance, musicality, group work, and learn performance skills. Dancers make new friends, learn discipline and respect, and all feel a wonderful sense of achievement after all their hard work. Classes are taught by qualified, professional teachers and dancers are encouraged to participate in ballet exams and studio performances.  

Inspire Ballet Academy is proud to teach the Cecchetti Method – an Italian Method which takes into account the laws of anatomy and the body’s abilities and limitations. This means that all technique is based on correct placement of the body in a safe and secure manner. This method focuses on correct foundations, with excellent build ups for exercises, allowing dancers to progress through each level with a clear understanding of their own body as well as a strong ability to perform each exercise with precision and artistry, from beginner to advanced dancers.

Adult Classes

Inspire Ballet Academy offers ballet classes for adults of all ages, suitable for absolute beginners and dancers with previous training. These classes offer adults an opportunity to incorporate movement in their weekly routine, through dance – feeling beautiful while working the whole body and keeping the mind active.
