SA Diabetes Advocacy (SADA) is the united voice for people living with diabetes in South Africa. As an inclusive and representative organisation, SADA exists to ensure that those with lived experience of diabetes are heard, recognised and included in the conversations and decisions that shape diabetes care in the country. Through advocacy, collaboration and strategic engagement, SADA works to influence change across both public and private healthcare sectors. Its initiatives span all types of diabetes, with a strong focus on addressing the most pressing challenges faced by people living with the condition in South Africa. By partnering with diabetes advocates and stakeholders, SADA leads impactful campaigns and projects that drive awareness, promote equitable access to care and ensure the meaningful participation of the diabetes community at every level.
