Sorting and matching shapes helps to develop maths skills as well as developing language as your child learns the names of the different colours and shapes. Matching is important in the development of visual discrimination which is needed later for differentiating between numbers and letters. Our wooden shape puzzles have four shapes with four primary colours with a small wooden knob attached for easier manipulation of the puzzle pieces.
