What is so special about avocado oil?
Fresh avocados are jam-packed with healthy nutrients, including vitamins B and C and healthy monounsaturated fats. Not only are avocados great for our health when consumed, but avocado oil is also widely used in hair care and skincare products because of its ability to nourish and be rapidly absorbed.
Did you know that avocados comprise approximately 30% oil? When this oil is extracted, vitamins B and C are lost because they are water-soluble, but all the other nutrients are retained. Avocado oil is a rich source of lecithin, potassium and vitamins A, D and E.
