Gear up, kids! Cartoon Network Africa is zooming into action with its new game, Climate E-Racers, in Cartoon Network Game ON! – an immersive experience on Roblox.
To bring this new activation to life, World Champion and net-zero racing team Envision Racing, the greenest team on the grid of the world’s greenest motorsport championship, joins forces with Cartoon Network EMEA, Warner Bros. Discovery’s animated series network, to engage children in the race against climate change. Part of the Cartoon Network Climate Champions initiative, this exciting game is here to turn you into an eco-hero, tackling the growing problem of electronic waste (e-waste) while having a blast!
What’s the buzz about?
Cartoon Network’s Climate Champions initiative is all about inspiring kids aged 6-12 to take small actions every day for the environment and make a world of difference together. Now, with Climate E-Racers, you can join the fun by racing through awesome Cartoon Network worlds in cars you customise yourself—using e-waste collected in the game and more! It’s a wild ride where you’ll take on cool Climate Champions challenges, learn about recycling, and show off your creativity and skill.

The world is on track to produce 75 million tonnes of e-waste by 2030! That’s a huge problem, but Climate E-Racers is here to help kids understand the importance of recycling and reusing electronics.
To make this mission even bigger, Cartoon Network Africa has teamed up with the E-Waste Recycling Authority (ERA), a leader in e-waste management in South Africa. ERA helps guide the proper disposal of e-waste and provides a handy list of recycling drop-off points around the country, making it easy for everyone to pitch in and protect the planet.
