We are all too familiar with the popular tv show MasterChef Junior and now they have their amazing cooking line for children.
I think that as parents we often forget just how educational cooking can be for children. Not only do they brush up on their math skills by measuring correctly but there is a science that goes with cooking. Exploring your child’s creativity is a must and MasterChef Junior encourages your child to do just that.
We were sent 2 out of the 5 MasterChef Junior sets available. Kids really are provided the opportunity to become the ultimate home cook. Each box set provides your child with real cooking tools, plating suggestions to created fantastic dishes, and recipes for all skill levels such as:

Best of all a blank recipe card comes in each set so that you child can get creative with the flavours and dishes that they love most.
Cooking is such a valuable skill for any child to learn and so having tools on hand to teach them can really turn into a bonding experience.

Every child LOVES pizza. In our case it provided a fantastic Saturday afternoon lunch activity. We only wish that we had more pizza pans this size as they are certainly the perfect size for children. Each of our children had fun making their own dough and then following their recipe to create a special afternoon treat that THEY created themselves.
The Baking Kitchen Set

In our family one of our daughters is gluten intolerant and so making breakfast for her can sometimes be a hard task. In our house we encourage our children to help each other which can sometimes be hard when it comes to her meals. We simply loved that there was an easy breakfast egg cup recipe that was easy enough for our youngest children to follow. This made our breakfast a whole lot easier.
Now although this did not fall within baking as such, it was probably the best part. The fact that children are encouraged to mix and match and make cooking fun and awesome again!
