The warm aroma of cinnamon makes this porridge a nutritious comfort food. Quinoa is one of the healthiest grains for babies. It is full of fiber, calcium, iron and folate along with anti-inflammatory benefits.

Dates are a great source of fiber. Besides relieving constipation, they are a good source for maintaining bone health and strength. Dates are filled with vitamin B6, vitamin K, folate, potassium, iron, carbohydrates, and manganese. I started giving dates to my daughter by 8 months of age. My daughter who is almost a preschooler still has this porridge for breakfast. She likes to add some fresh fruits and little cheerios for crunch.
