The house has its own secure garden and private swimming pool, as well as a separate cottage, and overlooks our fynbos nature reserve where zebras are often seen grazing nearby.The farm has extensive wetlands and large flocks of sheep, so there is always plenty of activity to be seen at the different times of year.

We provide both children’s and adults’ bicycles for exploring the farm and the nature reserve, and also offer game drives to see the herds of eland, springbok, bontebok, black wildebeest and other animals in the reserve.

Arolela (meaning 'sharing') is a guest farm in the Western Province of South Africa. It co-exists with a working farm, producing wheat, barley, oats and sheep.

The setting is typical Overberg with lots of blue crane birds. The view alternates between canola yellow, brown, and luminous green, depending on the season. The farm is only 1 hour's drive from Cape Town, situated 14 km from Botriver, 18 km from Caledon and 45 km from both Hermanus and Greyton.
